Ian, a family man with 2 children, joined HNC shortly after Tim & Mike formed the business. HNC had just won the Northern England distributorship for Heidenhain and Ian was taken on initially to fit digital readouts but has developed the business and now totally responsible for sales and servicing of all things Heidenhain - ranging from DRO’s to the latest multi axis CNC controls!

Like most of the team at HNC, Ian, also a machine tool man, works long hours but is passionate about football, playing 5 a side, during the week and running junior football teams at the weekend.

Ian confirmed that joining HNC was the best day’s work he’d ever done – but not to tell the directors!
